Frequently Asked Questions

Mark Davids, Paula Dorion-Gray, Bob Gray and Richard Kuranda enjoy a recent reception at Raue Center. |
Does it Matter When I Join?
No. Our e-mail newsletter, called Raue Insider Bulletin, is published each month. You can join anytime. A link to the current issue will be sent to you when you confirm your online subscription. Just click the top link on the "Thank You For Subscribing" notice, and the current issue will load in your browser window.
Do You Keep Track of my Purchases?
Not at this time. This is not a "frequent flyer" program. There are no points to earn (though that may happen in the future). You just join up, receive online news and special offers from Raue Center, and have fun!
Will You be Watching my Clicks?
In a sense, the answer is yes. But, only for the pattern of interest shown by our members overall. We will be taking some reports off the "list server" which sends out our monthy e-mails to see what the general trends are, how many clicks on which links of the Bulletin, etc. We want to learn more about our member¹s interests as a whole. But there will be no invasion of your privacy. For more on this please read our Privacy Policy.
What Kind of Coupons and Discounts Will You Be Offering?
It depends on how the program develops over time. We're doing this to bring our customers a little closer to an "insider's experience" with Raue Center. This won't be driven exclusively by discounts and coupons. We want to do more things with our base of customers, give them a chance to have more intimate experiences, make new friends, see more shows, and yes, save money. In general, a climate of "rewards" has been built into this program. But it won't be a coupon distribution thing, like you'd find with a big retail store chain.
Does My Membership Expire at Some Point in Time?
No. It's good for as long as you like. However, in the future we may contact you and ask if you wish to continue receiving the e-mail newsletter. This will be done to help us maintain an up to date list.
Will I Receive a Membership Card?
No.
Is There Any Cost to Join?
None. Membership is completely free with no obligation to buy.
Do I Need To Buy Tickets to Maintain My Membership?
There is no obligation to buy anything at all. You may come to any of the free meetings or activities at no cost. Additionally, you are free to use the coupons and special offers we will be sending you. Any purchase you make from Raue Center is voluntary. Of course, we are delighted to receive your patronage and support. But you won't find us heavy handed in this. Basically, we think it is a good idea to reward our customers in unique, creative ways. Who knows? Maybe you'll feel the same way in continuing to offer your support to the Raue Center.
Are There Any Special Terms or Conditions?
There are no particular terms or conditions for membership. It is a free program from which you can unsubscribe at any time. If we develop any general membership terms or conditions in the future, you will be notified. However, you will encounter specific terms and conditions for the coupons and/or special offers that your receive through Raue Insider Bulletin. The language pertaining to these usage terms and conditions will be written on the individual voucher or coupon that you print off on your home computer system. Please read and take note of this language.
Must I Have an E-mail Address to Join?
Yes. There will be no other kind of newsletter communication associated with this program due to the limitations of our operating budget.
Are You Going to Sell my E-mail Address to Any Third Parties?
Absolutely not. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
Can My Spouse or Family Make Use of my Membership?
Essentially, we have designed the program for individual membership, which is free. Anyone with an e-mail address can join. However, we realize that many families share a single e-mail address. Therefore each voucher or coupon will contain firm language pertaining to its use. No multiple coupon distribution can occur from a single member e-mail address. However, you are free to let a spouse or family member take advantage of a coupon or special offer that has been sent to your e-mail address provided that you follow the express, written terms and conditions contained on the voucher, special offer or coupon.
What if I Delete my Monthly Newsletter? Can I Retrieve The Coupon?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. In this regard, it's just
like any other coupon you might find in a newspaper. If you throw it away, it's
gone.
Will I be Asked Personal Questions, or Have to Fill Out a Long On-line Form?
No. Sign up is very simple. Just your name, e-mail address and zip code. We do ask a few optional questions at sign up which we would like to have answered (such as your preferences for different kinds of shows), but you don't have to fill out these fields. From time to time we may send out a survey, or ask for your response on a particular issue. There will be no obligation to reply. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
